The partnership between Moravian College and CX University opens the pathway for students to apply professional certifications in Customer Experience and Patient Experience to their graduate program coursework, while also earning course credit for those advanced accolades.
“It brings you back to the basics of leadership- creating an environment where people feel welcome, safe and that their contributions matter”, said Katie P. Desiderio, a faculty member and executive director for graduate business programs and assistant vice president for corporate educational partnerships at Moravian College in Bethlehem.
Rampolla served Moravian College on the Board of Trustees since 2008, serving as the Chair since 2012.
At Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa., Allison Blechschmidt has noticed a yearly uptick in the number of students seeking psychiatric services, such as diagnoses of mental-health issues and prescriptions for antidepressants and antianxiety medication.
Through this partnership, Moravian College can provide access to Good Shepherd employees interested in Moravian Graduate programs in Nursing (including Nursing Post Master’s Certificates) and Business. 
The U.S. News & World Report rankings, which were released on September 14, are the latest in a list of national media outlets recognizing Moravian College; including The Princeton Review, Money Magazine, and Washington Monthly. 
The partnership will allow Moravian's on-campus counselors to make referrals to board-certified psychiatric specialists affiliated with Mantra Health, as well as to collaborate on evidence-based treatment plans, coordinate the administration of care and track patient progress over time.
PBS39 also checked in with the Moravian College esports club about its plans. Nick Laird, who oversees the Cyberhounds as an advisor, says changes are underway for the group.
"Typically, all of our new students arrive in one morning, which takes us four hours," said Liz Yates, associate dean of students. "This year, it's going to take about three days."
Moravian College will welcome back about 1,000 residents when students start moving in next week. Students were given the option of single or double rooms, and the school said many have opted to have a dorm-mate.
