CURRICULUM

Moravian's accelerated Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) curriculum allows you to finish our DPT program in 2 1/2 years with a December graduation. Our next incoming cohort will begin the DPT program in late May 2025, and will have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027. This allows students in this cohort to be eligible for the January licensure NPTE exam in 2028 and to be able to enter the workforce sooner than typical 3-year programs!

The DPT program curriculum has been created with the goal of creating DPT generalists who are able to practice in diverse clinical settings upon graduation. The curriculum embraces active learning principles and immerses students in the clinic early in the program, allowing students to apply knowledge and skills in real-life environments. The eight-semester program (2.5 years) allows students to learn using a distinctive approach of student-directed learning in a team-based format rather than traditional lectures. Students are able to practice skills in an advanced clinical simulation center incorporating high and low-fidelity simulators and standardized patient actors that mimic authentic clinical encounters. With a combination of board-certified clinical specialists and doctorally trained faculty, students obtain a world-class education from experts with varied areas of expertise.

Come join us - an exceptional and revolutionary education awaits!
